As I said more than once before I never played a roleplaying game. Much because I never had a gaming group I could join and because I never wanted to start one myself (I don’t see myself DM’ing).

I can imagine what is to be in one, I’ve seen several groups gaming and read and heard a few stories about roleplaying groups here and there.

I was stumbling around the web when I found this great page. Basically it compares the role playing manuals try to teach with some joke almost too real role playing examples.

I couldn’t stop laughing, It’s munchkiness all the way down the page.

There aren’t saddest news, today of all days, Gary Gygax best known for co-creating Dungeons & Dragons has passed away.

The news were given on Troll Lord Games Forum today.

Games wouldn’t be what they are today without one who can be called one of the fathers of RPGs.

Edit: Penny Arcade did a tribute comic for Gary Gygax, it’s bordering the semi-tasteful as it states on the title, but nevertheless I think it’s a great tribute.
