Well, I’ve had my share of people complaining about there being no comic this week

Sorry guys, but my exams are more important the comic right now. I’ll try to compensate when I’m on vacation (with more comics and/or wallpapers).

Meanwhile, last night I had a little time off from studying and put up a shop, yes you now can buy Breaking the Magic T-shirts, there’s a shop for the USA and for Europe, just choose what’s  closer to you for minimum shipping costs and delivery time. (prices vary between shops because they don’t have exactly the same products) When I have some time I’ll make some other designs, so if you have a suggestion I’ll consider it for a future shirt.

I’ve also installed some handy plugins on the site. One of the plugins shows  a window with a thumbnail on all external links once you over the mouse over them (if you don’t like this you can disable it in that same window), very cool if you ask me   Other things I installed were a smiley list near the comment form so you don’t have to remember the smiley’s code, and last but not least, below the comment form you now have an option to get updates on the next comments after you comment, it’s convenient if you’re following a conversation and don’t want to be reloading the site every 5 minutes.

Oh, I also cleared up the sharing menu, now if you want to share this comic on a social group or e-mail it to a friend just click the “share this” link and a menu will appear.

Those guys at Wizards are choosing someone to go to the Invitational through user votes on their boards.

An Invitational is, for all of you that don’t know, a tournament top players are invited (who would guess?) to go, the prize is nothing less than the opportunity to design a magic card where creator usually appears in the art. I think it’s a tournament all Magic players dream to go, even more than Pro Tours.

I wish all the luck for those guys, BUT as I am portuguese I ask of all portuguese (and even non-portugueses) to vote for Tiago Chan, so we can have a Tuga (it’s slang, meaning “someone from Portugal”) with a possibility to design a card! Come on people, start voting, do it for the team, even if you have to register on the Wizards board only to vote.

Tugas Power!

…comic resumes next week! I was thinking on doing a comic this week (for Wednesday or so, but I think I’ll take it easy and relax a little)

Exams are over whoo hoo \o/

Also, spoilers for Xth Edition are already complete, seems a cool set overall, even more for a core set, it doesn’t seem watered down for newbies which is good for better players and novice players alike.

Dragonstorm is taking the dive though, with no Seething Song, pilots of this deck will have to find alternatives, but the fast win this deck provided is gone (in standard, that is)

Wow, Breaking the Magic got linked on July’s Featured Links on Magic Deck Vortex! That’s just crazy! I mean, I read that site for ages and now they link my comic and they even say I draw good! (Yeah, really nice people   ).

While I keep drooling myself watching my link on that page, you might as well give them a visit, it’s a great site with lots of useful articles, but where they truly shine is on their deck lists and combo breakdowns.

P.S.: Yes I haven’t updated for a while, but next week the game is on!

Here’s a little something so you guys don’t think I’m slacking off.

It’s the lineart for next week’s comic. No script, not anything, just the lineart :P You’re free to speculate what’s going on.

;)
