People who know me, know that whenever someone talks about train games I roll my eyes and look the other way. Maybe it’s genetic or something, I don’t like trains. But a good train murder mystery? Sign me up!
That is the latest offering from Days of Wonder: Mystery Express.
In this game there has been a murder, and players set to find out the murderer, the motive and other details from the murder. The player who can deduct all the details best is the winner!
From what I’ve read of the rules, the game seems pretty interesting, but relies a bit too much in memorizing for my taste. I’ll have to try it to see if it suits my taste, however my first impression is pretty good, players move around the board performing actions (which cost time) that will allow them to find clues.

Production wise it looks awesome as typical of Days of Wonder.
The game is for 3 to 5 players and has an estimated time of 60 to 90 minutes. It will be released on March 24th.
