daVinci Previews for Essen
Here are some games daVinci will be showing in Essen this year:

Borneo is a game set in the XVII century, it’s the all craze for Indian spices. who will be the best merchant?

Borneo was first released in Essen 2007 as a card game, the new edition has now grown into a full board game in order to make it an easier game to play.

Also featured is new art and a new Pirates variant.

A game for 3 to 5 players.

With a similar theme comes Amerigo, a card game by the Taiwanese designer Din Li. Winner of the “Best Unpublished game” award offered by daVinci and Lucca Comics & Games in 2007, the prize is now its publishing.

A game for 2 to 4 players.

Also in Essen the Italian version of Start Player will be released.

This edition will feature some of the best cards from this game which basically makes you choose a card and read it to choose a starting player for other game (I really need this game, I’m sick of dice and summoning devils to choose the starting player).

This game was designed by Ted Alspach of Board 2 Pieces fame.

Lupusburg is a reworking of Werewolf for smaller groups. No master is needed to moderate this game which is a boon as the master usually acts more as a referee than an actual player.

From 3 to 8 players.

Lupusburg will be released this winter and previewed in Essen.
