Arkham Horror is a 1 to 8 player game in which the players play the roles of Investigators of the supernatural trying to avoid doom brought forth by an Ancient One (something like an evil god). It has been said that this is a game for Lovecraft fans, but it is also a game for horror fans in general and for people who appreciate difficult games.

Tabletop gaming and Asmodée are organizing a contest to offer twelve copies of Okko a tactical miniature board game where Demon hunters are fighting Evil Creatures.

One of the biggest defects I can find with Arkham Horror is that it doesn’t provide a “monster cup”, this can be about everything, from a cup to a bag as long as it’s not transparent.

I actually use a plastic bag until something better comes up, but Erica Williams decided she wasn’t going to be so cheap.

Age of Steam

Age of Steam

The third edition of age of steam is being tested to be released in 2008 by Mayfair.

The game will feature new artwork, double sided track tiles and wooden train markers. There will also be a simpler version of the rules for beginners.

Age of Steam will be edited by Mayfair with a different name due to trademark ownership disputes.
