Unknown to the more casual gamers among us is a war.
A war, that for decades has brought casualties in the world of tabletop games.
Euro games vs. American games (more commonly “Ameritrash“). The differences between the two type of games are often debated.
Perhaps the main points of debate is that Euros usually have better designed mechanics and less luck while Ameritrash has highly developed themes and a moderate to high amount of luck.
To a casual gamer this will probably mean nothing more than a witty though of “Oh, that’s why I liked those games best!”.
In this day and age however, the line is increasingly crossed and I can’t help but to think that better games will be born of this unholy reunion.

Tiago is the mastermind behind Breaking the Magic but he usually isn't the mastermind when playing games getting a lot of humiliating last places. He is however a cunning Cylon. Also never ask him to roll a die, even though he doesn't have bad luck at critical times he is known to roll the worst possible result. He loves receiving mail and answers every single one.
It’s not just any old war – it is a HOLY war
Liked the cartoon. Not particularly funny but amusing to those caught in the crossfire. What is your favourite product of the Ameritrash / Eurogame interbreeding ?
From the few games I have played, I’d have to say TI 3rd edition.
It’s still more Ameritrash than euro but I find the new elements added to have improved considerably the game which I had played in its first incarnation and immensely and truly hated.
