All of those out there who have played Arkham Horror (which is based on the Cthulhu Mythos) will know that Arkham Horror isn’t only a horror themed game it is horror.

Players cooperatively play against the board, it may seem a little dumb and static but believe me, no game will be the same and no game will be easy.

I got this game even though I wasn’t a Lovefcraft fan (only because I never had the chance to read it) but still this game has a charm of it’s own. Many gamers will tell you to stay away of this game if you’re not a Lovecraft fanboy/fangirl, but that is just wrong if you love horror in any way (or just a good game) this game is great, it even allows solo play which is quite a bonus if you feel a gaming itch but can’t get anyone to play with.

Yes you do feel powerless sometimes with gates to other dimensions popping up in the ficticious city of Arkham but even if you lose and you will lose you won’t feel you’ve lost your time. Unless you’ve gotten lost in time in space in which case you did waste time and it probably made you lose the game

You either go nuts or get beaten up in this game but the fun you have is worth it.
