I love Fantasy Flight games.

I don’t know why, but every game I bought from this company has exceeded my expectations. I am the proud owner of Descent: Journeys in the Dark and Arkham Horror, and have played multiple times Twilight Imperium. Though to be honest I tried Starcraft and it doesn’t really click, the game is great it feels like the video game, but then you get to the combat and it’s pretty lame.

But I’m not here to talk about any game in particular. I’ve said I love Fantasy Flight’s games but… and there’s always a but, the freaking playing areas are HUGE.

I bought a table for my room about a year ago, at that time I only played Magic and it was a table with lots of space, now game boards laugh at my puny table. My room isn’t a big room so buying a bigger table is out of the question, my solution has been to get a garden table I have in my balcony and setup the player specific stuff on that table.

Of course I don’t get more than 3 players in my room and even so it gets a bit tight in my room.

Don’t get me wrong, I like huge and beautiful game boards, but I don’t want to play on the floor and get back pains for a week.

Oh Fantasy Flight why do you treat me so?
