…Puerto Rico!

The first boardgaming comic is here!

Why did I change this comic from a magic comic to having other boardgame stuff? Well, actually it reflects my own gaming experience, I have been playing magic far less than I had been and I’ve been experimenting more boardgames every week. It’s not that I don’t like to play magic anymore, it’s just that there’s more fish in the pond and lot of games out there to play.

Anyway, most boardgamers out there either played or seen Puerto Rico being played. It’s a nice game though I have to say I wasn’t really that excited to play it the first time someone told me to try it. I mean how much fun is it to build up San Juan? You don’t even get to bash someone’s face in! Suffice to say after the game started I was hooked, the game plays really well and once you start playing it winning isn’t that big of a deal, it’s all about the fun.

The comic reflects what I think about the colonists in the game, I mean they work for you and you never pay them… colonists? More like slaves to me!
