It’s Timmy’s birthday when you open up that green deck, you’ll find more fatties there than sailor moon cosplayers on an anime convention.

Green is all about the bombs, Molimo, Enormous Baloth, Wurms, you name it. It’s a very well constructed deck with various means of acceleration (none being Llanowar Elves strangely).

One of the greatest bombs though is there in enchantment form: Blanchwood Armor. Basically this is a deck that ramps up your mana and then makes you eat the fatties (and your vegetables too). Overrun is there for the final kill as well. Mantis Engine tries to solve the non-flying problem green has, to a questionable degree.

With all this you would think green gave a good beating to all those white guys. Wrong.

White with it’s crowd control mechanisms (tap, tap, tap) and pacifying the largest beasts got away pretty neatly, the fliers and first strikers made sure Cho-Manno and his buddies got the victory.

White did get a wild beating the only time it lost, with Molimo and lots of blanchwooded guys getting out real soon due to all the acceleration. Ironically, green is the only deck where you don’t feel land flooded ’cause you’re always looking for that extra land.

Enjoy the weekend people, more clashes on Monday when the beasts face the deadly swamp-dwellers.
