   First of all, Jhoira ain’t bad, though I doubt she’d look that bashful.

   Second… okay, maybe I’m like the only storyline goober who would appreciate this, but does this HAVE to be a mini-arc? Couldn’t you leave the story on Dominaria forever? Keep encountering all the characters, maybe planeswalk to whatever other settings they release (Lorwyn, in a few months), maybe go back to the Weatherlight saga and make fun of that… It would oh so make me very happy.

   I know, I was just trying to make her a babe.

   I’m actually considering that, that’s why there’s no reference to the “another world” title. For now I’ll just keep them on Dominaria for a while and then I’ll decide if this keeps on going or not.

   But I won’t be trying to follow things of the book too rigidly, it’s supposed to be a funny alternative to the storyline.

   Oh, of course don’t follow it rigidly. I haven’t even read Time Spiral, or anything after Apocalypse killed a substantial portion of my soul.

   hmm, who would be looking trough urza’s binoculars..Ow Ow Ow, is it mirri the cursed? I think urza (just a shot in the dark though) Jhoira’s looks kinda wierd, not badly drawn, the anime/blush stripes seem kinda wierd on a women who according to the books has eyes that betray her true age But i won’t nag… Like the comic

   It’s hard to draw eyes that betray someone’s age, I mean you can’t draw them saying “Ah I’ll betray 2000 years of age”. See? It’s that hard.

    First off, that’s not a bad Jhoira, I recognised her before the characters said anything. And second, I’m intrigued by the possibility of a permanent plotline as well. If you think you’re up to it, go for it, I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only delighted fan.

    Just don’t go all Yu-Gi-Oh! and have them casting spells off the cards.

    …unless that’s part of the joke. He’s got ‘real world’ players on Dominaria, they’d have some sort of advantage for knowing about various spells.

    Anyway, UGMadness (also excellent) and the other defunct Magic comic are all about playing the game, and developments therein. Going more meta, and actually getting into the game setting could really set this comic apart… particularly if you keep it topical somehow. Like if major design decisions/format changes have impact on the comic (like, if it were around a few years ago, the characters could have been constantly on the run from the evil Arcbound Empire… hah)

    Anyway, I’ll stop now, because if I don’t I’m too likely to just start TELLING you what I think you should do instead of just offering suggestions, hah. Good luck, and when’s the next update ey?

    So you mean I can’t have them believe in the heart of the cards Tony?

    Actually I already thought about how it would be if they would cast spells in Dominaria, no cards were involved in the process, that’s just cheesy

    That’s why I started the storyline, I started thinking “How am I different from those other comics if I just focus on two guys gaming?”.

    Next update is later today (I hope), I mean, it has to be ’cause I want to spend all the rest of the week studying for rules adviser and maybe pass the test to be a tournament organizer (I just thought it would be fun).
