Loading ...I’ll tell ya. It’s been a frickin’ hell of a weekend.
I was going to draft with my girlfriend, nephew and some friends at a friend’s shop (there aren’t many magic players at that shop, so we decided we’d change that!) and I took my sister’s car. BIG MISTAKE, it so happens some guy hit the car from behind when we were stopped, so our draft Sunday started bad. After everything was solved (the guy that hit the car took the blame without hesitation), a little battered we still got to the draft. Only 5 people showed up for the draft, but it was lots of fun! Sara got the 1st place and I took 2nd place, my nephew got third after a long game against Sara (it involved Sara getting to 1 life and then resolving a heroes remembered and winning the game). We’re still a little sore from the crash, but no one was seriously hurt, and we still managed to have some fun from the mini-tournament. Fun,a Damnation for each of us from the pick… well it was a REALLY nice draft (there were 2 Lotus Bloom involved too). Oh did I mention the Bogardan Hellkite? The timbermare? Best draft EVER!
Chris (from Cartridge Comics) and Chris (from Digital Unrest) accepted to exchange links with me, ’cause they’re really cool guys, check their comics out, really they’re great! Chris Simmons even sent me BTM’s first fanart ever! So now I have a fanart page, you can do as Simon Dremel form Cojoined Cows and send your fanart over, I’ll be sure to post it 
You should thank Simon for the idea for this comic as well. I was completely out of ideas and Simon said (eheh “Simon said”) I should do a zombie comic someday, well today is the day.

I still can’t believe i lost to Sara because she had suspended heroes remembered on the first turn.
EVEN WORST she was at 1 life when she used it…. but i have to admit that she played better than me but only that time (and in planar chaos pre-release :p) cause I’m a better player than Sara and Tiago =p.
About the accident, well it wasn’t that bad and i was on the back :p

Your tournament sounds like it was fun. When I’m in Portugal sometime, I might join in. (Was never in portugal or even spain :P)

Ah man that must have sucked. I personally have a more long term strategy. Herald of Leshrac and Dark Heart of the Woods. Using the Herald, I take your forests, and then sacrifice them with my Heart and torture any and all green players with a sadistic grin.

You know, I tend not to play in tournaments, partly cause my cash has to go to other things, but also cause I like playing with my circle of friends over being sociable and making new ones. ;P

I understand that totally, but in my case I play with my friends in tournaments (or at least try to), of course if it’s a big tournament chances are you won’t play with them.
About the cash, well I don’t really buy boosters and stuff, I gather the money so I can play in drafts or sealed decks, that way I’ll play and still get cards ^^
